FAST Interoperability Portal

The FAST Interoperability Portal is a site where organizations can test the compatibility of their FAST implementation with other FAST implementations.

SCP 1.0

The SCP 1.0 EchoServer provides organizations with the ability to test their encoder and decoder by sending messages that will be decoded by the EchoServer and the re-encoded and sent back to the client. The round trip from testing implementation encoding to the encoding and decoding on the echo server and finally back to decoding by the testing implementation proves that the testing implementation is interoperable for the messages sent.

In order to connect to the SCP 1.0 EchoServer, follow the steps below:

  1. Upload templates and manage registry - Upload FAST message template definitions in XML below.
  2. Register a client name - Choose a client name that will be unique. Names based on organizationdomains are preferred (i.e. org.fixprotocol.FastImplClient or http://www.fixprotocol.org/FastImplClient)
  3. Connect to the EchoServer - The SCP 1.0 EchoServer is running at fast.fixprotocol.org:3990, once the templates have been uploaded and the client name registered you can connect with your test client.
